Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Broadcasting from the Doubletree Hotel in Albuquerque, NM, again. In this show I talk about why it has been FOREVER since I have recorded a show, listener feedback, and my request for listeners to help with the direction of my show. Don’t forget that you may leave feedback (free!) by clicking the Google Voice widget (over there on the right). I’m “Capt Jeff” on Facebook, and “jeffnielsen” on Twitter.
Feedback from Bob, Nancy, and Mary.

I enjoy the Catholic content as much as the airline stuff. Personally I wouldn't change anything, but I'll continue to listen no matter what you decide.
God bless you, Jeff.

Glad you're back too. I loooooove your show. Can't get enough. I would listen to longer shows, including more about 'behind-the-scenes' stuff of flying, but in addition to what you're already doing rather than instead. In your case, more is better!
Capt. Jeff,
I too am glad that you're back!
One of the joys of traveling for my wife and I is to discover the similarities/differences between our home church and churches far away. You know that different diocese may have slightly different ways of doing the same mass. As we are largely stationary and you are slightly more mobile, it would be interesting to me to hear about your experiences with regional variations in the our Catholic Church.
Oh - and all of your pilot stories.... they may be old to you, but they're new to us.
:)
Keep 'em coming!
Glad you're back after that long hiatus. My vote is for you to do what you've been doing: answer the questions about flying and throw in the Catholic stuff too. You're not a Secular Pilot, you're thoroughly Catholic, and I don't see how you can be authentic if you don't include Catholicism.
I'm interested in knowing how you handle your faith in the cockpit and away from home. Do you find a place to go to daily Mass whenever you have the time in your schedule? I've always understood flying to be a profession that carries a lot of temptation with it---how does that affect you? Or being around others who might not be faithful? You used to wear a large Miraculous Medal---were you allowed to wear it while flying?

Sara voiced my comments better than I could. I hope you will keep your show with both pilot and Catholic stories and opinions. It is the combination that makes your show unique. God Bless!
