Catholic Pilot Podcast Coming Soon…
24th August
Yeah. It was bound to happen eventually. I just couldn’t keep my mouth shut any longer.
I hope to have my first episode out soon!
Two weeks off is no vacation!
13th March
Technically speaking, yes, I did get a two-week vacation. It’s almost over now. I’ve been busy with my “other job” of graphic design/garment imprinting (screen printing, sublimation, etc.). I haven’t made as much progress as I had hoped, but I was able to cross several things off of my to-do list. I leave on my first trip this month on Monday. I have mixed feelings… yes, it’ll be great to “slip the surly bonds of earth,” but, darn, it sure is nice to be home every day and night with my family!
I figured this would happen
29th November
My intention was to make frequent posts to this blog, but, as usual, I’m a starter, and not a finisher. Oh well.
I love flying this time of year. Thunderstorms are few and far between. Flights are just the way I like them: boring and uneventful. Yeah, snow and ice are something to start thinking about, as well as low ceilings and visibilities, but, honestly, they really don’t bother me so much.
I love my family so much. My children are just about perfect. Intelligent, quick-witted, loving. And my wife… I really think she’s an angel assigned to me from God. Of course, without her, I’d still be a happy Lutheran, not a Catholic. Thank you, God!
I really feel bad about all of the work that my wife and kids have been doing the last several days… we had the Willits family … Read More »

Just a view from my office window on Thursday morning. We were enroute from Atlanta to Indianapolis.
First Post
2nd August
11:00 AM, Friday, August 1, 2008. I’m sitting in the pew at my parish church, St. Andrew Catholic Church. It’s a funeral Mass for one of our parishioners. She is a beautiful woman who has recently died after suffering seven months of ovarian cancer. I don’t mean beautiful in a physical way, although she was, but in a deeper, more spiritual way. She really lived out the Gospel. I really didn’t know her, but based on the testimonies of friends and family, she was a worker for God. She touched the lives of so many.
Times like this make me retreat and think about what life on Earth is about. And it always helps me reflect upon the people I love and the people who love me. I have resolved to try to keep some sort of journal, so that the … Read More »
