Join me in the first episode of the recently-rebranded “Airline Pilot Guy” podcast! As you’ll see (well, hear, actually), it sounds just the same. The main topic of discussion is the recent update of the AF 447 accident investigation, and how automation may have led (indirectly) to this senseless tragedy. I also talk about Captain’s authority, and how it’s misuse may have led to the removal of two Muslim Clerics on a recent flight departing Memphis. Send me your feedback!

I’m “Capt Jeff” on Facebook, and “CatholicPilot” and “airlinepilotguy” on Twitter.

Hi Capt Jeff!
This was an amazing episode! Thank you for giving your background on how you came to be a pilot, I don't think I had ever known, and it was very interesting.

Well, I have to say, I was enthrolled by your reading of the update of flight #447, and this says a lot coming from someone who, before your podcast, never thought aviation was something to wrap my head around. I have a few cousins who are pilots, but it was never something that turned my head. Until now!

Again, great episode! I really enjoyed it!

God Bless!
Beth
